CrowdFundBeat Brings Crowdfunding Conference and Expo to Atlanta with Inaugural Crowdfunding USA Tour

Following a successful event in Silicon Valley, Crowdfunding USA will provide education on the growing industry

Atlanta, Georgia – (April 28, 2014) – Thought leaders in the crowdfunding space will gather at the inaugural Crowdfunding USA Tour to learn about new opportunities in the world of crowdfunding. Taking place May 1-2 in Atlanta, the event will focus on real estate, equity, reward, social good and intrastate crowdfunding.

“We’ve had such success with the Silicon Valley conference, so I knew I wanted to expand,” says Sydney Armani, conference organizer, Silicon Valley Crowdfund Ventures CEO and CrowdFundBeat publisher. “Even though this will be our first Crowdfunding USA event, I’m expecting great things.”

Attendees will hear from distinguished guests who have implemented crowdfunding as a part of their current fundraising and marketing strategies and from those who worked directly with U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to make the equity crowdfunding legal in the United States. Topics such as the future of crowdfunding, new frontiers in the industry with real estate and reaching crowdfunding business goals will be discussed by Georgia Secretary of State Brian P. Kemp; Dr. Richard Swart of UC Berkeley; JillieneHelman, CEO of RealtyMogul;  and Kendall Americo, CEO of FundHub, to name a few.

Crowdfunding USA will allow attendees to discuss the state of crowdfunding, learn from experts and network with potential new partners, VCs, startups, CPAs and journalists. There will also be a demo pitch contest during the event, bringing together investors and entrepreneurs; new ideas will be presented and streamed live online, giving business owners the chance to be in front of the press and possible backers.

“With carefully selected panelists, amazing sponsors, plus a pitch competition, I know that everyone involved will take away some great insight on the growing industry,” says Armani.
